Happy Birthday to Vaughn. The big number 2! I attempted to make him a car cake and it turned out pretty darn cute. He loved it and that is all that matters right. These pictures posted backwards but I started out taking a picture of him all dressed up. He looked so handsome and I love the cheese face he gives. Then He blew out the one candle and then we stripped him down to get dirty! It was a great party and we are so glad to have our bubba! Happy birthday little man. We love you so much.

O Christmas Tree O Christmas Tree.........
This day turned out to be the most freezing day of the year thus far, but when the window of opportunity presented itself we braved the weather and headed to the tree lot(we aren't brave enough to go up into the woods to find the perfect tree). Maybe someday we will venture out like the good old days.... anyway this is the tree that we strapped to the roof of the van and the kids just had to get up there and help dad get it down. I love this picture because it captures Vaughn in his true character. He always, and I really mean always has one shoe on and one off. That is just how he rolls! Its funny most of the time but when I am really in a hurry and just want to jump out of the car and go I have to re-shoe more that I really feel is necessary. He must be a summer boy at heart. Anyway we had a good time getting our tree and once again we had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope you all did too. Love ya-

Happy Thanksgiving. These are all I have for pictures of Thanksgiving time. I dont know what I was thinking but I never got pic of the feast. Makes it easy to catch up I guess. Oops. Isabel had a feast at school and she learned so much about the first Thanksgiving. She wanted to braid her hair to look like an Indian girl. Its so much fun to see her get excited about new things. We have so much to be thankful for each day of our lives. Loves to you all!

Good times....

This is the entertainment that we have resorted to because of the freezing Idaho weather. I would like to thank Keisha for the idea but I am pretty sure that I don't rmember rice being all over "her" house.=) My kids are just crazy I guess! Its really funny to watch them play. What is one more mess to clean up right!

Here are some Halloween pictures that I just had to share. We went trick-or-treating in Oliver and Keisha's neighborhood this year and the kids got a workout! The weather was fantastic and we had a blast. Olivia and Vaughn got to "take breaks" and ride the 4-wheeler with Uncle Ollie. Vaughn(who is not light by any means!) was carried by mom and dad more than we had expected. He was just plum tuckered after just a few houses, but remainded in good spirits, which I was thankful for.

CATCHING UP AGAIN.....

I have some catching up to do for the last few months.......
This is a picture of Isabel's Halloween party at school. They set a place for Vaughn to come and enjoy the games and treats! Isabel was so excited and of course Vaugh was elated to be there with big sister. By this time he had shed the chicken costume to focus on eating the goodies. It was a fun first school party for the whole family.
